Unlike conventional colorimeters, the SLS 9400FC-PLUS is handheld and battery-operated, making it ideal for field use and sharing between various parts of a company. The instrument also features NIST-traceable precision and performance that rivals lab-grade instruments that cost thousands more. Additional features include contact and non-contact measurement capability which solves measurement accessibility issues associated with projectors, touch screen FPDs, and video walls. It features unique light-collection geometry that eliminates polarization error from displays and field-calibration capability that enables users to create new calibration standards as required.
